Since 2004, Areon Flutes' mission has been to make flute chamber music an equal voice in the chamber music world.

World premiere of "Void of Day" by Cornelius Boots at the 2013 Switchboard Music Festival.

Areon Flutes was awarded the Bronze Medal at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition in Notre Dame, Indiana.


2007

New York debut in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall in September. "These players know what kind of new music pleases audiences and critics alike." "The group itself was memorable; they are a treat to all the senses" (Anthony Aibel , New York Concert Review)

The Areon Flutes International Chamber Music Competition awarded its first prizes. It has been an integral part of Areon's mission to make flute chamber music an equal voice in the chamber music world.

Areon Flutes was the ensemble in residence with the El Camino Youth Symphony from 2004-2007.
